Moon DancerOnce upon a midnight dreary A girl is dancing on the moon With shades of silver in her hair And eyes that sparkle without care Tonight she moves so fiery and free As she sings a sad and familiar tune Each note filled with delicate grace As they leave her intricate face She sings La la la la lalalala la Once upon a midnight dreary A child is sitting quiet and still Closed eyes and an open heart Not knowing how to mend it Clasping hands over her ears The screaming heard sets to kill She dreams of a dancing girl On the moon with a smile of shinyMoon Dancer
